Serbian jokers rock at Al Amerat Park

Muscat: A group of performers from Serbia, showcasing their traditional dance and music at Muscat Festival in Al Amerat Park, have become a huge attraction especially among children and young persons.
 
The Serbians are cheering up crowds, especially children, who are enthusiastically running behind them and trying to touch the tall performers.

Explaining their performances, one of the Serbian carnival street show entertainer told the Times of Oman that they perform three times a day. "Every time we put up a show of different musical arts combined with Serbian traditional dances," the entertained said.
 
The 45 minutes-long performances begin from the main gate and are performed at 6pm, 8pm, and 9pm respectively.

Magicians are also surprising kids by performing various magic tricks.
 
The Serbian performers are very pleased with the response from the audience and are hoping to progress in coming days.
 
Zarana Bleda, one of the carnival entertainers, said the group always enjoys performing at any given place. "However, here in the Sultanate of Oman, we are feeling at home because Omani people are very kind and hospitable.
