Badr Al Samaa Ruwi celebrates its 12th anniversary with cultural extravaganza

Muscat: Badr Al Samaa Ruwi celebrated its 12th anniversary recently at its auditorium with an impressive display of a six hours' long non-stop cultural extravaganza.

The programme titled 'Badr Star Nite' commenced with the lamp-lighting ceremony by V.T Vinod, Managing Director Badr Al Samaa Group and Naveej Vinod, Executive Director. Dr. Justine C. Augustine, General Manger, K.O Devassy, Group Marketing Manager, Annes Mohan, Branch Manager and various other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.

Dr. Deepak presented a brief history of sports activities held for the staff of Badr Al Samaa Ruwi at various venues was presented to the audience.A variety of cultural programmes like solo songs, drama, duets, skits, classical vocals and 'oppana' were a few among the innumerable items which marked the event  presented by the staff of Badr Al Samaa and their children. The event began with the welcome address by Anees Mohanan.  Paul Victor, Manager, proposed the vote of thanks.  Badr Star Nite 2014 concluded with a lucky draw which offered many attractive prizes to the winners. 

"The past twelve years have been a happy and successful period for Badr Al Samma in many ways. It has been a mix of happy memories, supportive and enduring relationships and successful achievements. Of course there have also been some paths that may have been slightly difficult to travel together. Yet in spite of the odd stumbling blocks along the way, all the staff have traveled through all these years together, supporting and encouraging each other. And as we take the time to express our gratitude for a fantastic twelve years gone by, may all the staff of Badr Al Samaa be ever with us in the years ahead," said V.T Vinod in his keynote address.
