Oman, Spain sign agreement to avoid double taxation, tax evasion

Oman and Spain signed an agreement on avoidance of double taxation and tax evasion at Al Alam Palace on Wednesday. The pact was signed on behalf of the Government of Oman by Darwish bin Isma'eel Al Balushi, Minister Responsible for Financial Affairs, and from the Spanish side, by Gonzalo de Benito, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
Another pact was signed in the field of tourism. It was signed on behalf of the Government of Oman by Ahmed bin Nasser Al Mahrazi, Minister of Tourism, and from the Spanish side, it was signed by Jose Manuel Soria, Minister for Industry, Energy and Tourism. Oman, represented by the National Records and Archives Authority and the National Archives of Spain signed an MoU. It was signed on behalf of the Government of Oman by Dr Hamad bin Mohammed Al Dhowyani, NRAA Chairman and from Spanish side by Gonzalo de Benito, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
