Multi-screen cinemas to open at MCC, QCC
Giving a fillip to the family entertainment scene, Oman will have a new Magic Planet at the City Centre Qurum. To open sometime in mid-July, the new 473 sq. ft. Magic Planet will feature soft play areas for younger children, exciting rides and redemption games.
Earlier this year, City Centre Muscat re-opened its newly enhanced and expanded Magic Planet attraction which features new dynamic games, rides and play options for the entire family.
In addition to the opening of new Magic Planet, City Centre Muscat will open a 10-screen VOX Cinemas and, by late June, City Centre Qurum will unveil a 7-screen VOX Cinemas.
"The first time appearance of VOX Cinemas in the Sultanate is part of Majid Al Futtaim's major redevelopment investment of OMR11.3 million to revamp City Centre malls, the leading shopping and lifestyle destinations in Oman, with a focus on adding brand new family entertainment in the malls," said in a press statement.
