Hiring drive for Oman Convention Centre

Muscat: Venue manager, AEG Ogden has stepped up its recruitment of key personnel at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre ahead of its official opening in 2016.

Suitably qualified candidates are being sought to fill nine positions at the iconic Sultanate venue. The roles include business development manager and executive (international); marketing and communications manager; director of food and beverage; executive chef; head of events; audio visual manager; management accountant and systems administrator.

Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre General Manager, Trevor McCartney said yesterday the recruitment of these key positions was a major milestone leading up to first stage opening of the exhibition halls which are expected to be completed next year.
