Anticipating the holiday rush, the bank has taken the required measures to ensure that the ATM/CDM network is fully geared to serve the needs of customers. The 24/7 call centre is also fully geared to provide all required assistance during the holidays.
During week-ends and holidays, the demand for cash withdrawals from ATMs is high. Keeping in mind the customer requirements during the holiday season, Bank Muscat has taken all measures to maintain the ATMs fully loaded, especially at key locations frequented by customers. Customers are able to withdraw cash, pay utility bills and inquire about balances in their accounts.
As for CDMs, customers can utilise CDMs for: cash deposit, cheque deposit, utility bill payment, mobile top-up and for remittance services. ATMs form a pillar of customer service and Bank Muscat can claim that its network of ATMs and CDMs spread across the country is the preferred choice. Being a member of OmanSwitch and GCCNet, customers from any bank in Oman, the GCC countries and from around the world can use BankMuscat ATMs for their cash requirements.
The holiday rush from the neighbouring Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the domestic requirements no doubt will place a heavy load on the Bank Muscat ATM network, but thanks to strong customer-centric measures in place, the ATM network will perform to their optimal level, offering cash and other services.
In addition, customers can avail mBanking services, such as account balance inquiries and transaction details, bill payment, speed transfer to India, funds transfers to other banks in Oman, issue of cheque book, credit card statement for the last 25 transactions and currency exchange rates among other services. Customers can also can unlock their MPIN without calling the call centre. The mBanking app is available in Arabic for android devices.

Using the robust Integrated Voice Response (IVR) system, customers can help themselves to obtain all required information or contact the phone bankers for assistance. Customers can report card loss and block themselves their cards through the IVR system.
