Arab League report lauds Oman government staff’s work culture

Cairo: The Omani initiative in developing administrative work and enhancing the performance of employees has been hailed by Dr Refat Al Faouri, director-general of the Arab League's Arab Organisation for Administrative Development (ARADO).

This commendation came along with the statement released by ARADO yesterday in Cairo on the occasion of the completion of the consultancy study conducted by the ARADO for Majlis Al Shura, following Oman's request for an appraisal report.

The study aimed at developing and measuring the performance of its staff, developing the work procedures and performance indicators. It is worth mentioning that the study, which was conducted during 2013 and 2014, reviewed the existing work procedures, diagnosed the problems of the existing work procedures system and developed appropriate indicators to assess employees' performance.
