Oman sends new aid convoy to Gaza

Cairo: Oman sent a new convoy of humanitarian aid to the displaced and affected people of the Gaza Strip.

An aid convoy of six trucks carrying about 60 tonnes of medicines and other supplies headed via Rafah crossing point on Tuesday.

This aid convoy has been sent by Oman Charitable Organisation (OCO) and in implementation of the Royal Directives of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.

Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Harthy, Sultanate of Oman's ambassador to Egypt and its Permanent Representative to the Arab League, said that the humanitarian aid convoy is a continuation of the policy of the Sultanate to support the Palestinians in the face of their suffering as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
