Muscat: Oman is set to welcome the exceptional line-up of speakers who will start arriving on Tuesday to participate in the .Open Minds event that takes off on Wednesday.
The two-day thought-leadership forum, aimed at inspiring young Omanis, is being hailed as the first of its kind platform. The forum has been conceptualised in line with the national priorities of knowledge transfer and entrepreneur motivation.
Mohamed Issa Al Zadjali, chairman, Black & White and editor-in-chief of the Times of Oman, said, "The objective of .Open Minds is to synergise, motivate and educate (SME) young Omani entrepreneurs and the corporate sector."
Entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson; award-winning author Lord Jeffrey Archer; entrepreneur humanitarian HRH Basmah bint Saud Al Saud; mountaineer Tom Whittaker; entrepreneur Sahar Hashemi; Satellady Candace Johnson; speed painter Brad Blaze; Lonely Planet founder Tony Wheeler; well-known scholar and success coach, Sheikh Khalfan Al Esry and beat boxer Tom Thum will share their success stories with the attendees.
Empowering young Omanis
The forum to be held on September 3 and 4 at the Oman Auditorium of Al Bustan Palace Hotel will witness impressive participation from young entrepreneurs, corporate heads, CEOs, businessmen and professionals.
Besides, leading business houses, too, have come forward to support the event. All of them have expressed pride in supporting the forum. They are convinced that the shared vision of empowering young Omanis to take on leading roles across the Sultanate can inspire future leaders.
