HM appoints ambassador

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has issued three Royal Decrees as follows: Royal Decree No.14/2013 Appointing Non-Resident Ambassador.

Article One: Appoints Khalid bin Sulaiman bin Abdulrahman Ba Omar, Sultanate's ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany as the Sultanate's Extraordinary, Plenipotentiary and Non-Resident ambassador to: Kingdom of Sweden, Kingdom of Norway, Kingdom of Denmark, Republic of Poland, Republic of Finland, Republic of Iceland, Swiss Confederation.

Article Two: The Decree comes into force from its date of issue. Royal Decree No. 15/ 2013 Upgrading the Organisational Level of each of the Directorates of Sports Affairs at the Ministry of Sports Affairs in the Governorates of Dhofar and the North Al Batinah to a Directorate General.

Article One: Upgrades the organisational level of each of the Directorates of Sports Affairs at the Ministry of Sports Affairs in the Governorates of Dhofar and the North Al Batinah to a Directorate General under the title 'Directorate General of Sports Affairs in the Governorate of Dhofar', and 'Directorate General of Sports Affairs in the Governorate of the North Al Batinah'.

Article Two: The decree comes into force from its date of issue.Royal Decree No. 16/ 2013 Ratifying an Agreement between Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Government of the Italian Republic on Exemption of Visas for Holders of Diplomatic, Service and Private Passports signed on October 10, 2012.

Article One: Ratifies the aforesaid agreement with its attached text. Article Two: The decree comes into force from its date of issue.
