Muscat: MJB–Cassiopeia Team occupied the top spot in the ninth week of the RMS and MJB Saturday Morning Ladies Bowling League, held at the Al Khuwair Bowling Centre.
Steady bowling by RMS–Pegasus Team carried the day for them in the opening match of the day. Samar Mukadam of RMS–Pegasus Team bowled three brilliant games of 168, 153, and 132 pins, which secured them three points. However, Katai Pathmanathan of MJB–Cassiopeia also bowled three excellent games of 143, 120, and 155 pins, which secured a point for their team.
In the second match, Tum Daengurai of RMS–Orion Team bowled three steady games of 141, 143, and 166 pins; and Boon Jacques also bowled three superb games of 139, 157, and 142 pins. However, Arleen Edwards of MJB–Draco Team also bowled three tremendous games of 132, 160, and 173 pins. In the end, each team shared two points for the enthusiastic effort from their members.
In the last match of the day, Lynda Torah of RMS–Hercules Team bowled three excellent games of 164, 125, and 159 pins, which ensured their team two points. However, Sue Clarkson of MJB–Lynx Team also bowled three outstanding games of 157, 182, and 152 pins. This good performance, however, managed to gain them two points.
