Muscat: The Career and Training Opportunities Fair, being organised by the Centre for Career Development at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), was opened yesterday at the Grand Hall of the Cultural Centre, under the patronage of Sheikh Khalid bin Omar Al Marhoon, Minister of Civil Service.
This year, 58 organisations from the public and private sectors in Oman are participating in the event to select suitable candidates for training and placements from the different colleges at SQU.
The Center for Career Guidance at SQU started organising the annual Career & Training Opportunities Fair over 14 years ago, with a view to ensuring the provision of job opportunities or training to the students.
