His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.
Muscat:
His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has sent a cable of greetings to President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China on his election as president of the People's Republic of China.
In his cable, His Majesty the Sultan has expressed his sincere greetings and wishes of success to the president for leading his country towards further progress and prosperity and further progress to the relation between the two countries.
His Majesty the Sultan has also sent a cable of greetings to Pope Francis I, on his election as the Pope of the Vatican, wishing him good health, happiness and continued success.
