Muscat: Abishek Ramesh, with bowling figures of 4 for 36 off 10 overs, including one maiden over, helped Arabian Industries record an easy 87-run win against Times of Oman A in the last match of the Muscat Pharmacy & Stores LLC-sponsored, 50 overs a side, A Division tournament match played at the Ministry of Sports turf ground at Al Amerat on Thursday. 

Electing to bat after winning the toss, Arabian Industries was bowled out for 218 runs off 49 overs, thanks to a top score of 75 runs from opening batsman Ram Kumar. Other major contributors were Aqil Khan, 49; Sufyan Mehmood, 25; and Amandeep Singh, 20. Naveed Mushtaq was the pick of the bowlers, ending with figures of 4 for 37 off 6 overs, whilst Khalid Rasheed picked up 2 wic-kets, conceding 42 runs off 10 overs.

Requiring 219 for victory, Times of Oman A was bowled out for 131 of 31.5 overs. Sultan Ahmed, 34; Khalid Rasheed, 26; and Bashir Iqbal, 22 Not Out, made valuable contributions. Jaspreet Singh, with 3 for 38, and David Samrot, 2 for 38, lent valuable support to Abishek.
