Muscat: Citing weather chart indications, the Directorate General of Meteorology and Air Navigation (DGMAN) has said that the Sultanate will witness unstable weather conditions over the next two days —on Thursday and Friday— under the influence of low pressure system developing over the region.
According to the DGMAN statement issued yesterday, the skies over the Sultanate are expected to be partially cloudy to cloudy in the Governorate of Musandam beginning today (Thursday).
The cloud cover will extend gradually to the governorates of North and South Al Batinah, Dhahirah, Al Buraimi, Muscat, Dakhiliyah, North and South Sharqiyah with the possibility of scattered heavy rains, which may also turn into thunderstorms.
There are also chances that the Sultanate's weather may be affected by another low pressure system developing over the region in the mid of next week.
