Muscat: The President of International Hockey Federation Leandro Negre felicitated Oman's hockey veteran S.A.S. Naqvi and presented him the FIH tie — a symbol of honour. Also precent was Dato Tayyab Ikram, FIH Continental Development Officer and Secretary of high performance as well as Director of Coaching.
The Oman Hockey Association general secretary Redha Taqi Al Lawati also graced the moment. FIH chief was presented with the DVDs of The Evergreen Ace, a short film made on Naqvi. Negre was highly impressed by the contribution of Naqvi in Sultanate of Oman and India.
