Salalah: May 1 is a memorable day for Lifeline Hospital Salalah. The first delivery took place at Lifeline Hospital at 8.45am on May 1, by their obstetrics and gynaecology team comprising Dr Janet Joseph, Dr Jaseena N. and Dr Archana Mohan. All the employees shared the joy of the arrival of the bonny baby boy with the proud and beaming parents Jehat and Abdul Aziz Akak. The delivery was normal and the baby weighed a healthy 4kg at birth. He is the eighth child of the couple.
Jehat, mother of the newborn who works as secretary at Qabas School in Salalah, was all praise for the professional care and individual attention she received during her stay at the hospital. Abdul Aziz, executive director at Salalah Secondary School, was also extremely happy with the competence of doctors and warmth of nursing staff. Both of them were thrilled to receive special gifts and a privilege card for the baby entitling him to free consultation and other discounts at the paediatric department.
Lifeline Hospital Salalah boasts of two in-house specialists in the obstetrics and gynaecology department — resident gynaecologists Dr Janet Joseph and Dr Jaseena N — and senior visiting consultant Dr Archana Mohan.
