Muscat: India's most reputed playback singer and the golden voice of Indipop, Sonu Nigam will be in Muscat along with his 25 plus member troupe for a musical concert 'Sonu Nigam - Live in Muscat' to be held on December 13, 2012 at the Qurum City Amphitheatre from 8pm onwards.

Now, he gears up to return to Oman yet again to showcase some of his most spectacular and acclaimed musical numbers for music aficionados in Muscat. The event is planned to be more than a two-hour non-stop journey through Bollywood melodies, promising musical extravaganza for the Muscat audience.
Sonu Nigam is a true performer and loves the stage. He has performed various live shows all across the globe and in every continent. His shows are packed with grandeur and entertainment which has won him accolades from fans all over.
Nigam began his singing career at the age of three, when he joined his father on stage singing Mohammad Rafi songs and at the age of 19, he moved to Mumbai with his father to begin his Bollywood singing career.
Nigam took up radio commercials until his big break came in a popular TV show Sa Re Ga Ma after which there was no looking back. The format of the show gave Nigam a chance to showcase his singing talent as well as his natural charm and appeal towards audiences.
He shot to fame with composer Anu Malik's song Sandese Aate Hain from the 1997 war movie Border. The same year he sang Nadeem-Shravan composed chartbuster Yeh Dil Deewana (Pardes). Since then, he has created a unique style of his own.
