His Majesty pardons 177 prisoners

Muscat:
His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, the Supreme Commander, has granted Royal amnesty to a number of prisoners convicted of different crimes. The Royal amnesty has been given to 144 Omani prisoners and 33 persons of other nationalities.
The Royal amnesty issued by His Majesty the Sultan as part of the 42nd National Day comes as a kind gesture from His Majesty to the families of the inmates taking into account their social conditions.
