Muscat: The Muscat Securities Market (MSM 30) index closed at 5660.03 points at the end of October 2012, registering a rise of 125.65 points or 2.27 per cent compared to the previous month. The monthly report issued by MSM pointed out that the market value amounted to RO11.41 billion, a rise of 0.77 per cent compared to the previous month, which stood at RO11.33 billion.
The trading value during October amounted to RO66.88 million, constituting a decline of 41.43 per cent compared to the previous month as the daily average of the trading value stood at RO3.52 million compared to RO5.44 million recorded during September 2012.
