Energy efficient ventilation seminar

Muscat: Nuaire, world leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of energy efficient domestic, commercial, industrial ventilation and control equipment, in partnership with their exclusive distributors in Oman, Bahwan Engineering Company LLC (BEC) recently conducted a seminar on 'Energy Efficient Ventilation Solutions and Design of Smoke Exhaust Systems', at Muscat InterContinental Hotel.

Incidentally this year marked 30th year of BEC's successful association with Nuaire UK.  Bahwan Engineering Group has been associated with nation-building projects, ushering change in Oman for the last 35 years. The seminar was well appreciated by over 200 guests from the MEP industry fraternity comprising consultants, end-users and contractors.

Known globally for its technological innovation, experts at Nuaire have answered the chief challenges that face building designers in today's difficult market: namely meeting ever-tightening legislation, improving energy efficiency and indoor air quality and value for money.

Through the seminar, the speakers covered aspects of energy efficiency and innovation in ventilation through constant pressure variable volume systems and the methodology to design car park ventilation systems.

"Nuaire recently benefited from Welsh government funding to assist it in securing major new factory equipment. Installation of a new £3 million sheet metal processing system allows Nuaire to double current capacity, making Nuaire the most heavily invested ventilation manufacturer in the UK,"  says Alan Hopes, export manager at Nuaire.

Nuaire is one of the few ventilation experts to have successfully developed a reputation for specialist knowledge and product innovation across residential, commercial and industrial markets. The session ended with a highly interactive session.
