Muscat: Protiviti Member Firm, a global consulting firm, successfully concluded its second annual forum on Leadership in IT, 'What it Takes to Take the Lead in IT', held at the Muscat InterContinental Hotel, Oman.
Patronised by Dr Salim Al Ruzaiqi, CEO of Information Technology Authority (ITA) this thought provoking event educated personnel from a number of government and private sector entities on how to tactfully manage risks and optimise operational effectiveness while protecting information assets.
Key speakers for the forum included experts from Protiviti, ITA, Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, Oman Data Park, Bank Muscat and Oman Arab Bank. The speakers covered a wide range of topics on how information technology is shaping the personal and professional lives covering important aspects of IT priorities, leadership, cloud computing, security and privacy, risk management, information governance, change management and talent management amongst other stimulating subjects.
