Muscat: Unstable weather conditions in the north-west region of the Arabian Peninsula could cause heavy rains in parts of Oman, according to Met department reports.
The ROP has urged citizens and expatriates to exercise caution and keep off the overflowing wadis. Parents have been urged to keep a watch on their children playing near wadi courses and rain water ponds and residents were warned to avoid exposed electric wires and poles.
The ROP has also advised people against venturing onto the outer coasts until making sure that the weather conditions are stable and listening to weather forecast.
