The Times of Oman Open Quiz Contest, thanks to eager sponsors and equally excited participants, has become a regular and much awaited event in Oman. More importantly, it has changed the way quizzing is seen in Oman.
Sharing his feelings about the quzzing in Muscat, quizmaster Giri 'Pickbrain' Balasubramaniam says, "Sheer enthusiasm among participants in Oman is something I salute as a quizmaster. The way the numbers grow, the way they come is something I think is fantastic. Every time a quizzing community grows it is a very humble feeling for the quizmaster. I must also say that the growth reflects the efforts of the organisation that is hosting the quiz contest."
"I must share that my team has great respect for the quizzing audience of Muscat and they take a lot of time to prepare for this quiz given the fact that it is open to all and draws a huge audience," Giri 'Pickbrain' Balasubramaniam adds.
