Abu Dhabi:
Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Mas'oud, chairman of the Consultative Council of Abu Dhabi, has hailed the comprehensive development witnessed by the Sultanate in different fields during the prosperous reign of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.
In a statement to Oman News Agency on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of the glorious National Day, he said: "Thanks to the wise leadership of His Majesty the Sultan, the country has managed to achieve a qualitative leap in Renaissance march during a short period of time. The achievements have touched all the aspects of life and turned Oman into a contemporary nation where Omanis live in prosperity."
While attending the celebration organised by the Sultanate's embassy to mark the 42nd anniversary of the glorious National Day in Abu Dhabi, he affirmed that the Sultanate's celebrations have special importance to the UAE people due to the brotherly bonds.
He said that the strong relations between the two countries have been accorded the highest priority by the leaders.
