Muscat: The Royal Opera House Muscat's new flagship shopping destination, 'Opera Galleria', is set to open to the public tomorrow. The soft launch taking place now will offer a chance for the public to visit the stores before the official grand opening in 2013.

The Opera Galleria is host to wonderful shops and international brands in addition to an array of international cafés and dining  options.

The Opera Galleria, an adjoining retail development of the Royal Opera House Muscat, has been designed to follow and complement the refined and unique architectural patterns used at the Royal Opera House Muscat. The Opera Galleria boasts of 50 shops offering a wide range and carefully balanced mix of art outlet,  gems, fashion, perfumes etc. Also, a Bank Muscat branch will provide its banking and financial services to visitors of the Royal Opera House Muscat and 'Opera Galleria' for tourists and residents alike.

The 'Opera Galleria' is a high-end shopping arcade rather than a traditional shopping centre. In this type of luxury arcade, the main focus is given to top-of-the-range products sold within an elegant and serene environment, away from the bustle of the
outside world.

Tomorrow, 25 retail shops will be welcoming the Opera Galleria's visitors; the rest are expected to open within the coming days or weeks successively up to the Grand Opening date scheduled for early 2013 after most of the shops are completed.

This is in addition to the opening of the first boutique for the highly-acclaimed Omani fashion designer, Nawal Al Hooti, and the first store for exquisite Omani gifts designed by Asmaa Al Kharusi.

The Opera Galleria is perfect for both patrons attending the performances as well as the general public. The shops at the Opera Galleria will have working hours from 10am to 10pm.
