Muscat: Srinivas K. Naidu has been appointed the new principal of Indian School Muscat (ISM).
Naidu has a post-graduate degree in physics with 25 years of expertise as a physics teacher, administrator and academician.
He is known as a resilient administrator, an academician of note, and a visionary school leader who has rendered his services to a number of reputed educational institutions across the Sultanate of Oman and India. To his credit, he has the privilege of being the founding principal and director of an international school in India and has also headed some of the finest CBSE and IB World schools.
During his successful career spanning 17 years in the Sultanate, he has pioneered the concept of Digital Class Rooms (ICT) and Quality Management Systems (NABET) in Indian Schools in Oman.
With his active involvement in Round Square International Service and the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, he has been successful in opening wider avenues for better teaching and learning experience in the schools.
Naidu's interest and involvement in teacher training and leadership workshops have benefited the wider teaching community.
He is also an ardent promoter of Child Centric Education, Quality School Governance and Academic Excellence and is a passionate and continuous student who has attended programmes at IIM, BITS, University of New South Wales, and University of Leicester, UK, among others.
He also holds the post of honorary director and member at Educational Consultancy, Quality Council of India (QCI), International Confederation of Principals (ICP), Australia and TPC, and the Harvard Graduate School of Education, USA.
