PSM students excel in school examinations

The Pakistan School Muscat (PSM) results of FBISE Examinations of SSC I, SSC II, HSSC I, HSSC II and O/A Level were announced recently.
There are 5 A* and 9 A grades in SSC-I FBISE Examination this year. The top position holder in SSC-I was Quswa Mujeeb who, securing 460/525, placed herself in A* grade.
Second position was clinched by Shaza Fazal who obtained 452/525 securing A* grade.
Muhammad Danish secured the third position and A* grade by obtaining 425/525.
Budrudduja and Osama bin Masood also attained A* grades by securing 420 and 423 marks, respectively.
In the SSC-II Examination this year, there have been over all 6 A* and 12 A grades. Rida Shehzad showed a terrific performance and stood first by securing 1007/1150 (95.9 per cent) marks. Aqsa Sajjad secured the second position by obtaining 922/1050 marks and Muhammad Awais stood at third position by securing 903/1050 marks. Muhammad Sufian, Kamran Ali and Muhammad Irtiza ullah Ansari also got A* grades.
In HSSC-I, Safa Sohail (also top position holder in SSC-II) stood first by securing 458/550 (83.27 per cent) marks and placed herself in A* grade. Hania Fatima stood second and obtained 411/550 marks securing a percentage of 74.73. Muhammad Mohsin secured the third position by obtaining 401/550 (72.94 per cent) marks.
In the HSSC-II FBISE Examination 2012-13, there are over all 9 A grades. Asad qbal got first position by securing 834/1100 (79.43 per cent). Sibghat Masood clinched the second position by obtaining 825/1100 (78.57 per cent) marks. Shifa Fatima stood third and secured 805/1100 (76.67 per cent) marks.
The results of IGCSE and GCE (AS and A2) have also been announced. Here too, the students performed splendidly well. There were 18 A* and 30 A grades. Maryam Sulemani has shown a marvellous result by securing 6 A* and 2 A grades and stood first.
Muhammad Shamoun Qureshi secured the second position and obtained 3 A* and 2 As while Fatima Badar and Maryam Bashir clinched the third position.
In the AS Examination, Ishrat Fatima and Tariq Shah secured 9 As and 8 As, respectively, and obtained the first position. Dua Zafar stood second and Al Asam Mohamad bagged the third position.
The students of A2 also showed good results in all the subjects. Huda Irfan achieved the first position while Warda Majid and Sheikh Usman clinched the second and third positions, respectively. Another tremendous achievement for PSM was that Azka Anwar (a student of PSM) remained the world's topper in English (GCE).
