: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said and King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan held a meeting at Bait Al Barakah yesterday. During the meeting the two leaders exchanged cordial conversation and reviewed the solid brotherly relations between the Sultanate and Jordan. They also focused on regional and global developments.
The two leaders discussed various aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries for the interest and further enhancement of the relations and achievement of aspirations of the peoples of the two brotherly countries.
The meeting was attended by Prince Ghazi bin Mohammed and Dr Omer bin Abdulmoneim Al Zawawi, Special Adviser to His Majesty the Sultan for External Liaison.
King Abdullah II arrived here yesterday, on a special visit to the Sultanate. On his arrival at the Royal Airport, King Abdullah and his accompanying delegation were received by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said accompanied during the reception by Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal bin Saud Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nuamani, Minister of the Royal Office, Nasr bin Hamood Al Kindi, Secretary-General of the Royal Court Affairs; Dr Omer bin Abdulmoneim Al Zawawi, Special Adviser to his Majesty the Sultan for External Liaison; Ambassador of Jordan to the Sultanate and members of the Embassy of Jordan in Muscat.
King Abdullah II was accompanied by Prince Ghazi bin Mohammed, Amer Al Faiz, Chief of the Royal Protocols and a number of officials.
