Tenders worth over OMR25m awarded for several projects



Muscat: The Tender Board yesterday held its 34th meeting for 2013 under the chair of Dr Rasheed bin Al Safi Al Huraibi, Chairman of the Tender Board.

During the meeting, the board awarded tenders worth OMR25,393,276 for the following projects: Construction of Halban road connection diverted from the South Al Batinah Expressway and construction of 10km-long service road (OMR8,518,262); Construction of sanitary drainage network and plant at the wilayat of Al Musannah in the Governorate of South Al Batinah (OMR7,912,527);  Supply of magnetic water meters and spare parts for the water tanker stations and water sale cards for tankers (OMR945,427); Provision of security guard services to the Ministry of Education and its affiliated buildings in different governorates (OMR460,800); Additional works for the supply and installation of unified systems for Muscat International Airport, Salalah Airport and other domestic airports (OMR5,600,281); Additional works for the rehabilitation of the road parallel to the borders in the wilayat of Al Buraimi in the Al Buraimi Governorate (OMR426,106);

Additional works for the annual maintenance of the dust roads in the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate (OMR 416,599); Additional works for the SCADA system for water transmission networks in the Muscat Governorate (OMR166,795); Renewal of the security guards contract for the Public Authority for Radio and Television for 2014 (OMR158,400); Additional works for the design and construction of a road from Al Zahiyah to Uwaifiyah -Qarat Al Malh road in the wilayat of Adam in the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate (OMR129,149); Additional works for the expansion of water distribution networks in the Al Buraimi Governorate (Neyabat Al Rawdha) (OMR117,867); Additional works for the construction of water distribution network in the wilayat of Sumail in the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate (OMR87,688); Additional works for the operation and maintenance of the Public Authority for Electricity and Water assets (water transmission and distribution networks) in the North Al Batinah Governorate (OMR59,520) and others.
