Muscat: Indian School Muscat A (ISM A) remained unbeaten in the T20 Junior League Under-13 tournament with a 69-run win against Sri Lankan School Muscat (SLSM).
Opting to bat first, ISM A scored 158 for the loss of two wickets in 20 overs. Major contributions came from opening batsman Vivek Shreeram (38), Prathamesh Santosh (34 not out), Madhav Chandra Bose (26 not out) and opener Govindrajan (24).
In reply, SLSM lost wickets at regular intervals and were restricted to 89 for nine wickets in 20 overs. Stefan W. top scored with 17.
The bowlers to cause the debacle were Madhav Chandra Bose and Ashwin Unnikrishnan who bagged three wickets each. Prathamesh Santosh took two wickets.

Ivan inspires ISWK
Opening the batting skipper Ivan Joseph Manjila scored a blistering 102 runs off just 65 balls to help Indian School Wadi Kabir (ISWK) crush Bosher Olympic Centre (BOC) by a huge margin of 123 runs in an Al Turki Enterprises-sponsored Junior League 25 overs-a-side Under-16 match.
Electing to bat first, ISWK amassed 210 for the loss of three wickets against a 10-man BOC team. Ivan was involved in a 142-run partnership for the second wicket in 17 overs with Rohan Koshy, who remained unbeaten on 48. Hardik Toprani hit 26.
In reply, BOC were bundled out for 87 runs in 19.4 overs. Siddharth Adhicary and Harish Mohammed scored 19 each. Karan Koshy and Abhishek C. claimed three wickets each while Mohit Badiyani picked up two wickets.

Mahbub, Akramul dazzle
Skipper Mahbub Hassan made an unbeaten 93 and Akramul Haque 52 as they put together 191 runs for the third wicket to help Bangladesh School Muscat (BDSM) record a massive 103-win against Indian School Al Seeb (ISAS) in an Al Turki Enterprises-sponsored 25 overs-a-side Junior League Under-16 match.
Batting first, BDSM lost both openers with 15 runs on the board but recovered to notch up 206 for the loss of three wickets in 25 overs thanks to the brilliant partnership between Mahbub and Akramul.
In reply, ISAS were bowled out for 103 in 18.3 overs. Skipper Balraj Singh scored a run a ball 22.
Sharior Nur Fahim was the pick of the bowlers returning with figures of three for 24 in four overs whilst Mohammed Showharwade Neshad and Mohammed Solaiman bagged two wickets each.

In another Junior League Under 16-match, Muscat Cricket Coaching Centre (MCCC) recorded a massive 197-run win against Al Hail School of Cricket (Al Hail SOC).
Opting to bat first, MCCC accumulated a colossal 268 before being bowled out off 24.5 overs. Major contributions came from Aveeral Golash (44 off 15 balls), Abhijith N. 38, opening batsman Tusheet Goli (29), Sohail Sameer (27) and Raj Damani (24). Extras accounted for 63, including 43 wides and four no balls.
Omran Jalal Khan took three while Al Zubair Al Balushi and Ahmed Mohammed took two each. Al Hail SOC in reply were bundled out for a measly 72 in 18.1 overs.
Sohail Sameer returned with four for 10 in 3.1 overs while Ragul Virupak and skipper Karthik Rajan picked up two wickets each.

ISAS rout BOC
In another T20 Junior League Under-13 match, Indian School Al Seeb (ISAS) routed Bosher Olympic Centre (BOC) by a massive margin of 130 runs to maintain their unbeaten record.
Batting first after winning the toss ISAS piled up 184 for the loss of one wicket at the end of the 20th over thanks a first-wicket partnership of 138 runs in 15 overs between Mohammed Uzair (83) and skipper Usman N., who remained not out on 63. Rajesh K. scored 26 not out.
BOC in reply were bowled out for a measly 54 off 15.2 overs with a top score of 15 from skipper Shreyas Raghavan.
Arul S. bowled brilliantly to end with figures of three for eight in three overs while Usman N. claimed two for four in 3.2 overs.

In another T20 Junior League Under-13 match, Bangladesh School Muscat (BDSM) crushed a nine-member Gulf Cricket Centre (GCC) team by 83 runs.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, BDSM scored 194 for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs thanks to a top score of 69 not out from Adnan Alam Fahim and a useful 27 by Rehad Islam.
Skipper Hari Krishnalal Pillai bowled a tight line to end with figures of four for 26 in four overs whilst Zaheer Imad-ul Haque picked up two for 36 in three overs.
GCC in reply were bowled out for 111 in 15.1 overs with Veera Anand scoring 30 and Hari Krishnalal Pillai contributing 22.
Malik Mohammed Arshad took two for three and Alip Murtaza Ahmed two for 41.
