His Majesty confers Excellent Service & Royal Merit Medals

Sayyid Badr bin Saud bin Harib Al Busaidi, Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs, presented the medals during a ceremony at Mu’askar Bait Al Falaj
His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, conferred Excellent Service and Royal Merit Medals on a number of commissioned, non-commissioned officers and personnel at the Ministry of Defence, the Sultan's Armed Forces (SAF) and the Royal Guard of Oman (RGO).
Sayyid Badr bin Saud bin Harib Al Busaidi, Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs, presented the Excellent Service and Royal Merit Medals during a ceremony at Mu'askar Bait Al Falaj yesterday in recognition of their sincere efforts in serving their homeland and their dedication in carrying out the sacred duty.
The minister congratulated the officers and personnel for this Royal Honour, and urged them to exert more efforts and diligence for the development of their country under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.
The ceremony was also attended by Lt-Gen. Ahmed bin Harith Al Nabhani, Chief of Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces (SAF), Maj-Gen. Said bin Nasser Al Salmi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO), Air Vice-Marshal Mattar bin Ali Al Obaidani, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (Rafo), Rear Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis Al Ra'eesi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO), Mohammed bin Nasser Al Rasbi, Undersecretary, Ministry of Defence, and several senior officers of the Ministry of Defence, SAF and RGO.
