Muscat: In line with the Royal Decree of his Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, which was issued in December amending the Sultanate's Banking Law to allow Islamic Banking services in Oman, ahlibank Alhilal Islamic Banking Services is conducting a comprehensive market awareness campaign for Islamic Banking products and services across the Sultanate.
As part of the comprehensive market awareness campaign ahlibank Alhilal Islamic Banking Services will be hosting a seminar on Islamic Banking in collaboration with Nizwa University at the University premises on Tuesday, December 18, at 9:00am, which will be open to the general public at large.
Committed to providing Shari'a compliant banking ahlibank's Al Hilal Islamic banking services aims to educate the general population on the best practices and developments in the field of Islamic Banking.
Renowned Omani Shari'a scholars who will be speaking during the seminar which include Sheikh Aflah Al-Khalili, Member of Shari'a Supervisory Board of Al Hilal Islamic Banking Services and the Head of Research and Studies at the Institute of Fatwa in the Ministry of Awqaf & Religious Affairs as well as Sheikh Ibrahim Al Sawafi, General Secretary of Fatwa at the office of His Eminence the Grand Mufti.
Abdullah Al Jabri, deputy general manager, ahlibank, reiterated the commitment of Al Hilal Islamic banking to reach out to all the ahlibank customers, with the promise of being true and transparent to their beliefs.
