Muscat: Dr. Fouad bin Jaafar Al Sajwani, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, yesterday issued a ministerial decision lifting the ban on the import of livestock from the Republic of Sudan.
The decision comes following the recommendation of the specialised veterinary agency that the reason for the ban on the import of livestock from Sudan is over. The order said the government had lifted the import terms of the Vet Quarantine Law and its executive regulations.
