Muscat: The Toyota pavilion attracted a steady stream of visitors during the 12th Oman Motor Show at the Oman International Exhibition Centre, Seeb.
According to a spokesperson, "The response was enthusiastic, rather overwhelming. Of course, the stars of the show were the 2013 range models. We received several test drive requests. The families also had a memorable time. All we can say to the visitors, 'Thank you for patronising Toyota — we hope to serve you even better over and over again'."
Aesthetically designed in accordance with the most modern display/exhibit hosting principles of Toyota Motor Corporation, the Toyota pavilion had something to please everyone. There were on-stage activities and performances, freestyle dance sessions, lots of gifts to take home.
The pavilion also featured the Toyota FT-EV II — an electric vehicle created from the core technology of the Toyota Hybrid System. The 2013 range models included the Land Cruiser — 4.6 L, Prado 4.0 L Classic, Fortuner 4.0 L Grand Safari, F. J. Cruiser Extreme, Yaris 1.3 Hatchback, Corolla Exclusive, Camry GLX Special, Aurion 3.5 Grande Exclusive and the Toyota 86 2.0 L Sports version.
All in all it was a huge success. As one visitor remarked, "I had a wonderful time here and hope you people have more events for customers soon. And, I was able to decide on the Toyota model that is just right for me. I will be visiting your showroom, soon."
