Muscat: In a strategic move made by Nissan Oman, their recently launched 2013 Nissan Altima has been in the limelight since its launch in Oman during the beginning of this month and continues to do so with its current Facebook campaign Altima 'Like & Win' contest.
Viewers have to log onto http://www.facebook.com/Sbanissanoman and 'Like' the page and along with it fill in a registration form to be able to enter a weekly draw. Every week winners get a chance to win a stylish new Galaxy Tab and simultaneously get an opportunity to view an interactive guide to the all-new 2013 Nissan Altima.
The SBA Nissan Oman Facebook page directs viewers to dedicated links which comprise 2013 Nissan Altima's interactive videos, international news, pictorial galleries, aesthetic details, and weekly winner updates.
The Altima 'Like & Win' contest has enabled viewers to engage themselves with all the information on the 2013 Nissan Altima and a testament to that is its gradual increase in the demand for additional content and exclusive offers on the new vehicle through the Facebook page in the last couple of days.
Since the all-new Nissan Altima is focused at a younger, modern audience, the creative strategy to have a social media campaign on Nissan's official Facebook page is aimed at being a social advertising innovator. The success will be measured through evaluation of brand perceptions and assessing audience feedback from the Facebook page as well as the number of clicks requesting test drives.

Socialbakers, a company offering monitoring and tracking tools for analysis of social networks that are used for comparing social media stats and metrics has credited the contest as one of the most engaging in their study of the MENA region.
The Nissan range consists of passenger cars Sunny, Tiida, Tiida Hatchback, Altima, Maxima and Micra. Their crossovers range consists of Juke, Qashqai and Murano, SUV's consists of X-Trail, X-Terra, Pathfinder, Patrol and lastly the Armada. Nissan's LCV comprises single cab and double cab Pick up, Navara, Patrol Pick up, Urvan and Civilian.
