Muscat: Dr. Fuad bin Jaffer Al Sajwani, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, visited the College of Agricultural & Marine Sciences at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) in order to strengthen the ties between the Ministry and the college.
Dr. Ali bin Saud Al Bimani, vice-chancellor of SQU, welcomed the minster and the accompanying delegation in the Agricultural Experimental Station (AES) premises. The minister visited different facilities in the AES, including the glass house, animal house and irrigation unit before visiting labs and dairy plant.
Addressing the faculty members, the minister said that he was delighted with the visit and stressed the need for further strengthening the collaboration between the Ministry of Agriculture & Fisheries and SQU.
