Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, received in his office AbdelAdim El Guerrouj, delegate to the Prime Minister in-charge of the Civil Service and Administrative Modernisation of Morocco.
Sayyid Fahd welcomed the guest and his accompanying delegation. The guest conveyed the greetings and best wishes of the Moroccan leadership to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, his government and to the Omani people.
The Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that Oman is planning to assess the performance of government organisations benefiting from the modern sciences and advanced technology that has led to upgradation of services rendered to citizens. He stressed the importance of exchanging expertise between the two countries to serve the joint interests.
Bilateral cooperation
The meeting reviewed the bilateral cooperation in promoting the service units and called for human resources development through training programmes. It was also decided to encourage the private sector to invest in the both countries.
