Recently, superstar Amitabh Bachchan finished shooting the sixth season of the hit game show "Kaun Banega Crorepati(KBC)", which was telecasted since Sep 7,2012. The humble actor stated that while shooting for the last episode, which will be aired on the Republic Day (Jan 26), he went through a "feeling of great remorse".
He updated his facebook status quoting ""The season endeth here of KBC! A sadness prevails and there is a feeling of great remorse...,".
He also tweeted on twitter.com "What shall be sad, will be missing the meetings with audience at KBC...their love and affection, their heartfelt words their smile !".
The game show which started in 2000 became an instant hit in households attributing to Big B's chemistry with the audience and camaraderie with the contestants. This led him to become the star of small screens also. Owing to Amitabh's huge popularity with the masses, the producers had no option but to hire Big B.
This time, Sunmeet Kaur Sawhney, who stays in Mumbai and earn her livings as a tutor, stole the limelight after winning the bumper prize of Rs. 5 crore. She is the first ever woman on the show to have won the mammoth prize. Manoj Kumar Raina, a resident of Kashmir, also won Rs 1 crore.
