Muscat: Beaconhouse School organised a winter carnival where different stalls were set up for the parents and children which included games stall, eatable stalls, popcorn and candy stalls, drinks stalls, etc. Children were encouraged to speak about their stalls and the games that had been put up. Baby show and cake decoration competition were the highlight of the event. There were skit and song presentations by Classes I and II while the tiny tots undertook a Jungle Parade on a foot tapping music. On the other hand Classes III to VIII organised an IT day. The students from Classes III to VIII very effectively used this platform to display their IT skills by using IT tools such as computers, laptops and projectors for displaying their presentations on current social topics such as wonders of the ancient world, weather watchers around the world, pirates of the sea and tourism. Visitors really appreciated the IT related knowledge and skills of these young students and found it very much aligned with the current standards required for all round development of the children.
