Muscat: Maj. Gen Salim bin Musallam Qatan, Commandant of the National Defence College (NDC), received on the College campus in Mu'askar Bait Al Falaj Monday a delegation from the Royal Jordanian Command and Staff College led by Brigadier Falah Al Ma'aytah, currently visiting the Sultanate.
The meeting discussed a number of issues of common concern particularly those related to exchanging academic military expertise between the armed forces in the two brotherly countries. The visiting delegation was briefed on NDC's duties and objectives, which include training military and civil officials and equipping them with effective skills to enable them to occupy leading positions at the strategic level.
