Muscat: Former champions Al Arouba will take on Al Tale'ea in the quarterfinals of HM Cup as the draw was held at the OFA head-office in Seeb Monday. In other quarterfinal matches, Al Shabab will face former champions Al Suwaiq while Al Salam will meet Al Nahda and Salalah will take on Dhofar at the Al Saad Sports Complex.
"I am sure the matches will be tough because all these teams are competitive enough to play against each other. So this is not going to be an easy route for these sides to semis," said Ahmed Al Habsi, tournament director and board member of OFA.
"Some great matches are in the offing and I am really glad that we had a fabulous season which will be concluded soon," he added. All the matches will be played on January 25.
