Pegasus hold top spot

Muscat: Pegasus Team remains in first place after the second week of the RMS & MJB Saturday Morning Ladies Bowling League, sponsored by Risk Management Services (RMS) and Mubarak Juma Bahwan (MJB), at the Al Khuwair Bowling Centre.

Pegasus win
Steady bowling from the Pegasus Team helped them gain a clean sweep against Hercules. Samar Mukadam of Pegasus Team bowled three brilliant games of 151, 153, and 154 pins respectively. Together with Leila Whaley bowling 40 pins above her average, helped secure them a total of four points to nil points for the opposition.

Cassiopeia win
In the second game Cassiopeia Team won the match with some excellent bowling.  Katai Pathmanathan of Cassiopeia Team bowled three strong games of 129, 171, and 149 pins respectively, while Catherine Preece from the same team bowled two fascinatic games of 134 and 162 pins.  Arleen Edwards of Draco Team also bowled three great games of 136, 157, and 166 pins accordingly.  However, it was not enough to gain any points for her team.

Lynx win
In game three, Lynx Team bowled very well and consistent with over 120 pins for all three games for all bowlers. Sue Clarkson especially bowled an exceedingly great game of 177 pins, the highest game of the league. This good performance ensured them their three points. However, Tum Daengurai of Orion Team also bowled three very good games of 168, 168, and 164 pins respectively, which helped their team to score a point.
