Muscat: All managers/captains of teams registered for the Khimji Ramdas sponsored knock-out tournament together with umpires are requested to attend a meeting January 30 at the Al Mirani Hall, Al Falaj Hotel, according the a press communiqué received here Tuesday.
The meeting with umpires will be held from 6.30pm to 7.30pm where a briefing of the playing conditions followed by the Umpires Code of Conduct. This will be followed by a meeting with the managers/captains from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. The agenda for this meeting is as follows: Draws for groupings for the Senior Cup A Division Teams which will be on a league format, followed by draw for the Intermediate Cup made up of teams from B to E Divisions and the Junior Cup knock-out for teams from F and G Division teams.
There will be a briefing on the playing conditions which will include the players and support personnel code of conduct. All matches will be on a T20 format. A total of 52 teams have confirmed participation with seven in the Senior Cup, 24 in the Intermediate and 21 in the Junior Cup. The confirmed teams are: Senior Cup: Muscat, Assarain A, Enhance, Passage to India, Al Turki NMC, Times of Oman A and Arabian Industries.
Intermediate Cup: OCT Muscat A, Sinha, Hasan Juma Backer, Al Saigh, Renaissance, Al Hail, OCT Seeb, Starslight, Galfar, PDORC, OCT Mabella, L&T Electromech, Enhance Eagles, Powertech, Muscat Duty Free, OCT Al Hail, Carillion Alawi, Moosa Abdul Rahman Hassan, Mott MacDonald, Atkins, OCT Hatat, Mustafa Sultan Enterprises, Arrow Overseas and Indian Social Club.
Junior Cup: Times of Oman B, OCT Al Amerat, Assarain B, Tile Marine, Landscape Architecture, Oasis Water, Al Rehwan, Bank Muscat, Al Hashim Projects, Al Nahdha Overseas, Rukun Al Yaqeen, OCT Muscat B, Ahli Bank, Sayarti, ISC Urdu Wing, Attic Outdoors, Sarco, Excellent Electricals, Muscat Electronics, Towell Construction and Al Bahihi.
