Muscat:
Exploring new avenues for trade and investment between Thailand and Oman, Dr Salem bin Nasser Al Ismaily, Chairman of the Public Authority for Investment Promotion and Export Development (Paiped), hosted the Thai Ambassador to Oman, Dr Pornchai Danvivathana.
As both nations seek mutually beneficial partnership agreements, the meeting aimed to uncover new areas of growth as well as building upon the existing ties between both countries.
Dr Al Ismaily said, "The Sultanate already enjoys a strong and longstanding trade relationship with Thailand and we are always looking for new markets for the growing array of Omani products. As we look to reinforce trade relations and diversify our economy we are confident that Oman has a lot more to offer Thai investors in the minerals, agriculture and healthcare sectors."
