Muscat: The Education and Scientific Research Committee at the Majlis Al Shura held its meeting under the chairmanship of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Qanoobi, the head of the Committee.
The Committee held discussion on school buses as some members had presented their report on the available school buses after meeting with some school bus drivers in their wilayats. The Committee formed a working team to discuss it with officials at the Ministry
of Education.
The Committee also discussed other education proposals, including a proposal to study the establishment of nurseries in government schools.
The Committee also reviewed the draft agreement of establishing the Regional Centre affiliated with the United Nations to teach space sciences in the West-Asia region.
