Muscat: Muscat City Centre and Qurum City Centre are collaborating with the Muscat Municipality to celebrate one of the biggest events of the Omani capital - Muscat Festival - to host a month-long shopping extravaganza featuring unbeatable shopping deals and the chance to win exciting daily and weekly prizes.
They are also offering exciting daily and weekly prizes for shoppers during the festival. It's a golden opportunity for shoppers to win a whopping 24 karat gold bars worth OMR 8,000 as the grand prize.
"Muscat Festival is the most important cultural and shopping event of the Sultanate. It is an amazing way to introduce Oman's heritage. Through this, we are able to showcase our traditions and culture. This is the specialty of the event which makes the Muscat Festival unique and more interesting than other festivals and events," Watfa Humaid Al Harthy, Senior Mall Manager, Qurum City Centre, told the Times of Oman.
She further said that Majid Al Futtaim group always appreciates the Muscat Festival because it is a very good opportunity for all tourists who want to garner knowledge about the heritage of the Sultanate of Oman. The young Omani manager claimed that her group is taking this opportunity to connect with their customers to make them aware of the best new deals.
She added that Muscat Festival is one of the most successful events in Oman, and Muscat City Centre and Qurum City Centre have always unanimously supported the Muscat Festival.
"This time Muscat Festival is hosting its events in a new location which is Al Amerat Park. This will bring excitement among all shoppers. Both Muscat City Centre and Qurum City Centre are preparing to be the best in this year's festival", said Husam Al Mandhari, senior mall manager Muscat City Centre, in an exclusive interview with the Times of Oman.
He added: "We hope it will be a successful event for Muscat Municipality as well as for Muscat City Centre, Qurum City Centre and for the Omani economy."
