Muscat: The Majlis Al Shura yesterday held its sitting under the chair of Khalid bin Hilal Al Ma'awali, Chairman of Majlis Al Shura.
The session hailed the Royal Orders of His Majesty the Sultan to establish Al Ajyal College and Al Rafd Fund.
The session approved a draft law on animal welfare and a draft law on veterinary practices, which were referred from the Council of Ministers, in addition to approving an agreement of the Sultanate's joining the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector. It also approved some economic agreements and work programmes of some standing committees at the Majlis.
