Ace cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, who is the brand ambassador of the campaign, attended the day-long event and was accompanied by celebrities like Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Kajol, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ayushman Khurana, Cyrus Broacha, Boman Irani, among others.
While the Coca-Cola Foundation committed Rs 2.5 crore towards the campaign, organisations like UN-Habitat pledged Rs 94 lakh, Tetra Pak Rs 20 lakh, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Rs 25 lakh and SRF Foundation Rs 10 lakh.
''Support My School'' is an initiative of Coca-Cola with NDTV, UN-Habitat, Charities Aid Foundation (CAF), Worldvision, Plan, Pearson Foundation and Tata Teleservices.
