Muscat: She is, currently, Bollywood's most in-demand star and has established herself in the top league of actresses. Yes, Katrina Kaif, who, in a short period of time, has become a hit choice among producers, will be joining India's megastar Shah Rukh Khan at the Temptations Reloaded concert to be held on February 13 at the Oman Automobile Association Club in Azaiba.
The show is being held as part of the Muscat Festival. Officials from event management company Light and Shadow Enterprises LLC, which is organising the concert, said they were delighted to have the female superstar among the list of actors who will perform at the concert.
Shruti Chowdhary, director, Light and Shadow Enterprises LLC said, "We are elated to have her perform at the concert. Besides movies, Katrina Kaif has given us some of the biggest hits when it comes to dance numbers. Hit numbers have been adding to Katrina Kaif's portfolio one after another. Tracks like Sheila Ki Jawaani from Tees Maar Khan and Chikni Chameli from Agneepath have established her as a dancing icon in Bollywood. As a result, her demand for stage shows and performances has gone up considerably. That is why we think it absolutely makes sense for her to perform alongside Shah Rukh Khan."
Shruti added that their fans in Muscat would be overjoyed to see the two together, especially after Katrina's latest outing with Shah Rukh Khan in Yash Chopra's Jab Tak Hai Jaan has become a huge hit. The Bollywood actress also received the Zee Cine Award as Best International Female Icon this year. Kaif made her acting debut in 2003 with Kaizad Gustad's Boom. In 2007, she earned commercial success with Vipul Shah's Namastey London and later earned public recognition for playing glamorous roles in such male-centric films as Partner, Race and Singh Is King. Kaif subsequently played more prominent roles in such films as New York, Rajneeti, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Ek Tha Tiger and Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
Tickets for the Shah Rukh Khan concert Temptations Reloaded are now available at City Cinemas (Ruwi, MGM, and Shatti), Panasonic (QCC and Ruwi), Lulu Hypermarket (Darsait and Bausher), Al Taqdeer Fashion and Bollywood Chat. Scheduled for February 13 at the Oman Automobile Association Club, Azaiba, the show will feature actors Katrina Kaif, Preity Zinta, Ali Zafar and Anuskha Dandekar joining the Indian megastar. The tickets have been priced at OMR500 (VVIP), OMR250 (VIP), OMR150 (Zone C), OMR100 (Zone D), OMR50 (Zone E), OMR25 (Zone F), and OMR12 (Zone G).
Temptations Reloaded show has received a tremendous response from fans throughout Oman.
